I think he has remained popular because he was a mans man. He was what men wanted to be and what women deep down think men should be. He did amazing westerns but also could add some comedy to them. I love his movies because they have stories without the swearing and vulgarity of movies today which is a nice change. Plus, he’s handsome ha ha.
